4th of July
The 4th of July is Mellen’s biggest celebration of the year! Join us for all of the activities. Closer to the big day/weekend, the 4th of July Committee publishes a schedule of events so everyone can take advantage of the fun. The schedule can be found on this website, in the Mellen Weekly-Record (the local paper), and posted online and around the city. It is also the time of year for class reunions. In 2024, there are six:
Class of 1951 will hold its 73rd Class Reunion on July 4th. Class members should meet in front of the Mellen Ambulance Hall at 10:30 am. Friends of the Class of 1951 are also invited to join the class for this momentous occasion!

Class of 1968 will hold an informal gathering on July 6th at the Veteran’s Memorial at the Mellen School at 5:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair along.
Class of 1969 will be getting together for their 55th class reunion on the afternoon of August 17th at Copper Ridge in Mellen. Any questions, please call 715-208-2653.
Class of 1974 will hold their 50th class reunion on Friday, July 5th at Northern Pines Resort. Tiki Bar at 2:00 pm. Please RSVP to Cheryl Schutte or Aleta Hill-Olson at aleta@sherbtel.net, on the Facebook group, or Messenger Chat.
Class of 1984 will be having a 40th reunion on Friday, July 5th at Dusty’s Bar in Mellen at 6:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
