Amateur Baseball Team – The Iron City Miners are a member of the Wisconsin Baseball Association (WBA) which is an organization of 56 amateur baseball teams from six respective leagues in the western and northern part of Wisconsin. The WBA teams, players, and directors are passionate about the game of baseball and about being positive influences in their respective communities.  The Iron City Miners are a member of the Upper 13 League in the WBA.

Memorial Field – a baseball field where both the Mellen Expos and the Iron City Miners play.  There are restrooms and a concession stand at the field.  It is located on Herbert Street, Mellen, WI  54546. To get there, turn onto Fayette Avenue next to the Mellen School. The entrance to the field is across from the school next to the city garage.

Little League Field AKA Three Rives Park – a field where youth T-ball, baseball, and softball is played. The location is the intersection of Bennett Avenue and Olson/Butler Roads on the East side of Mellen.

Golf:

Golf – Mellen Country Club – the Mellen Country Club is a public golf course located less than 3 miles north of Mellen on County Highway C. The views are amazing as well as the golfing. They offer a fun and challenging par 36 nine-hole course. The course also offers a driving range and putting green. And, the Club House serves food and drinks.

School:
