The Mellen Area Chamber of Commerce is sad to share that the Penokee Mountain Range Classic Bike Race and Tour for 2026 has been canceled.
The City of Mellen posted the following on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/cityofmellen/:
“As plans continue to come together, please note that this schedule is subject to change, and additional events may be added. We would LOVE to see the biggest parade Mellen has ever had! Now is the time to start planning your float, gather your friends and family, decorate your ATV, side-by-side, bicycle, golf cart, business entry, or community group, and join the fun. To register a parade entry or for more information, please call or message us at: 715-292-1509. Thank you to everyone who helps make Mellen’s 4th of July celebration such a special tradition. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!”

The Mellen Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate the graduates of the Mellen Class of 2026! We are proud of you. The Graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Basil Kennedy Gymnasium.
The BRICK food pantry in Mellen is always in need of donations. Donations can be made at the following locations or you can contact Bill Polencheck at 715-274-6221. The pantry is open the third Thursday of each month from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
