The 4th of July is Mellen’s biggest celebration for the year. There is a lot happening over the 4th of July here in Mellen. Closer to the big day/weekend, the 4th of July Committee publishes a schedule of events so everyone can take advantage of the fun. The schedule can be found in the Mellen Weekly-Record, the local paper, as well as posted online and around town.

Bingo, Beer, and Brats at the Mellen City Garage

Bellringer Run/Walk [5-mile & 2-mile]
Kids Money Scramble
Kiddie Parade
Annual 4th of July Parade @ noon
Fireworks – lit off at Water Tower Hill @ dusk
