Area residents are invited to check out Mellen's new LAUNDROMAT during the MACC (Mellen Area Chamber of Commerce) ribbon cutting ceremony on January 10th.
Come early and stay late to check the place out. Ceremony is at 1:00 p.m.

One of the gems of the State Park System, Copper Falls State Park, is just 5 minutes from Mellen, fast becoming one of the most popular parks in the state. A lot of good things are happening there. Go camping, rent a cabin, hike the North Country Trail. Mellen is a designated Trail City. The City of Mellen is both ATV and snowmobile friendly. Cross country ski or snowshoe this beautiful Penokee Range. Fishing or hunting can be another way to enjoy the surroundings. There are legendary sized whitetails in them thar hills.
