Participants will learn about the value of dark skies on all animal life with this session emphasizing bird activity at night. We’ll talk about owls and other birds that are active at night. Following the formal presentation, participate in the location of owls known to be in and near the park.

Location: Historic log pavilion near the Doughboy trailhead.

People of all ages are welcome. Vehicle admission pass required to enter park. Pets are restricted from this location. Although this event is “rain or moonshine,” check back here for cancellation in the event of threatening weather.
