Bat House Workshop

Build bat houses for the park with Friends’ “Night Owls” and learn why bats are an important part of the ecosystem. Location: Historic log pavilion. This event is an educational opportunity offered to increase awareness about nocturnal wildlife as part of a dark sky initiative.

“Night Owls” is a group of Friends members who are working to attain certification for the park as an International Dark Sky Places location. More information about this Friends’ initiative can be found HERE.
