“New Moon” Walk

This event has ended

On June 6th , the park hosts a “New Moon” walk – not the hip-hop type, but an exploration into dark skies,
stars, and the wonders of a nighttime hike. Hikers can sign up to be part of a growing community of “night-
owls”, folks that enjoy stargazing, nighttime photography, auroras, and experience an unseen world of
wildlife. The hike (weather permitting) starts at 9 p.m. and will traverse gentle topography and cover the
basics for all abilities. For more information about night-owl events and how to prep your flashlight for
optimal viewing, look for details on the Friends of Copper Falls State Park’s Facebook page or website:

Meet at the park contact station.  State park sticker needed.
